Senior QA Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall3+yearsofQAFunctionaltesting.Solidunderstandingofsoftwaretesting principles, methodologies, and standard processes.
• Must have extensive Manual / Functional testing experience.
• Abletowritetestplans,create andexecutetestscripts,andreportdefects, clearly,for Functional Testing.
• Involvedinpeer-reviewoftestscripts forFunctional,Smoke, Regression,andSystem testing.
• Organizing, monitoring defect management process.
• Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress.
• Providementorshipandguidance tolessexperiencedqualityassurance engineersin standard methodologies for quality.
• Collaboratecloselywithonshore teammember(s)tocommunicatetimelines,progress, and the work you'll be doing on the project.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors or mastersdegreeincomputer science,InformationSystems, Software Engineering or related.
• Overall3+yearsofQAManual testing.Goodunderstandingofsoftwaretesting principles, methodologies, and standard processes.
• ExperiencewithProject&QualityManagementtoolssuchasAtlassian/Confluence, JIRA, Zephyr.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• SolidunderstandingoftheSTLC,various testingconcepts(e.g.functional,usability, performance) and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Basic understanding of SQL.
• Experience using postman.
• Experience in testing cash sale and point of sales functionality a plus.
• Goodteammate,go-getterdemeanor,andabletoworkindependentlyina faced-paced environment.
• Experience in working UniData / Mainframe is a plus.
• Experience in supply chain testing is a plus.
• Experience in performance testing is a plus.
