Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications to identify functional, usability, and performance issues.
- Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright (preferred) or equivalent tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Report, track, and verify bugs in defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Linear) and collaborate closely with developers for resolution.
- Conduct regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing—both manual and automated—after bug fixes, feature enhancements, or new releases.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand product functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Identify, document, and promote best practices for manual testing, automation, and overall quality assurance.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in QA testing, with proven skills in both manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright (strongly preferred), Cypress, Selenium, or similar; familiarity with Java Script/Type Script for scripting.
- Strong experience in testing web, mobile, and desktop applications, including functional, usability, performance, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Linear) and test management platforms (e.g., Test Rail).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
