Senior QA Engineer Kolkata

Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of mobile internet optimization solutions that help telecom operators to improve network efficiency, speed and optimize video traffic. They are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with about 5 yrs of manual QA testing experience. This is a remote, home office based position.  The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for leading manual feature testing, from planning stages through the execution, results reporting and analysis, while taking into

consideration variety of components in a complex environment.

 The QA Engineer is working closely with development team, system architects, and product team.

 Experience in server based products like proxy, DPI, etc.

 Experienced at working at large scale labs environmentsEducation  BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent with Networking or QA Knowledge -Professional Knowledge Must:

 Strong knowledge in Linux/Unix OS

 Vast Knowledge in Networking (L2/3/4 devices)

 Good Knowledge in TCP/IP and HTTP protocols

 Experienced in various QA Methodologies (include

documentation writing)
Advantages:

 Scripting abilities (shell, TCL etc.)

 Experience in Network Telecom industry

 Knowledge with industrial hardware: servers, blades,

switches, routers

 Working with automation tools (Selenium, etc)

 Agile and dedicated

 Able to lead tasks independently and responsibly

Languages  Fluent English, especially in writing
