Senior QA Tester

Location: Hybrid | Remote Options 

 About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior QA/Test Engineer to create and execute manual and automated test plans, maintain test data and scripts, and ensure high-quality software delivery. You’ll analyze requirements, identify defects early, support cross-functional teams, and continuously grow your technical skills. 

What you’ll do 

  • Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps
  • Rigorously planning, writing and executing test scripts and perform manual and automated regression testing
  • Creation and maintenance of test data, tools and scripts
  • Analyze requirements, develop test plan strategies, create and execute test cases, track defects and report results
  • Work with a cross-functional team for testing needs and provide Adhoc data Support
  • Work closely with onshore and offshore team members to ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Prepares and executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production. 
  • Manual testing as needed to understand automation need and potential.
  • Execute test plans manually and conduct manual functional and exploratory testing
  • Complete testing in line with agreed time-frames and by following the documented business processes using the appropriate test management and automation tools.
  • Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role

    • Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience of QA Testing experience
  • Should have worked on Web Application, Microsoft CRM, Test Cases
  • Should have sound knowledge and understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC
  • Knowledge of Automation Script Design and Maintenance of Lines of Business Mapping, Assignments, Segmentations and Workload Functionalities
  • Test coordination with downstream application teams for integration testing
  • Ability to work under tight schedule
  • Should have experience in Automation testing using Selenium or any other framework.
  • Should be able to perform both front end and backend testing
  • Experience with at least one Test Management tools, for example, QC, Rally and solid experience with Defect Management Process
  • Ability and solid experience leading end to end validations from inception to production.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, development team, and other partners to understand the requirements, usage patterns and plan the test design
  • Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
