We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support a new React Native project. This role will lead the creation of the QA strategy, focusing on robust manual and possibly automated testing processes and tooling to ensure a seamless and high-quality mobile experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy, including documentation for both manual and automated testing processes.
  • Design, write, and execute detailed manual test cases across functional, UI, and integration areas.
  • Evaluate and implement potential UI test automation frameworks or other automated testing practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the client to identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
  • Work closely with the core delivery team especially as it relates to maintaining an agile workflow and backlog.
  • Communicate clearly to align on risks and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands‑on QA experience, including mobile app testing and some automation.
  • Experience with test automation tools or frameworks for React Native is a plus.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining test documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and defect management processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
