We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Digital Banking Division and ensure the quality and reliability of our native mobile application. This role requires deep knowledge of mobile integration testing, financial flows, along with the ability to take ownership of critical mobile features, collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other testers. Contribute to our high-quality product delivery and continuous improvement across the team.

Main Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile/scrum ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews, retros);
- Review business requirements and technical design documents to develop effective test plans in collaboration with Product owner, Business analysts and the development team;
- Test complex end to end mobile flows through APIs. Validate mobile events, network calls, error handling under multiple conditions;
- Prepare detailed Test Cases and execute manual testing to verify functional and non-functional business requirements and confirm that system meets product expectations;
- Design and implement automated test cases to cover end to end journeys and regression scenarios across mobile applications and backend Apis;
- Execute automated test suite and review test results to identify defects or inconsistencies;
- Communicate progress, risks and escalate issues in a timely manner;
- Record, follow-up and close identified defects when resolved;
- Maintain test documentation including Release notes, test cases, scripts, and manuals;
- Support customer UAT cycles (Issues tracking, clarifications, resolution and re-testing);
- Contribute to our On Time/On Budget/On Quality success story;
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Engineering, or related field;
- Possess a firm command of both the Greek and English language (oral and written);
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with adaptability to various testing methodologies;
- Strong Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a scrum team;
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues independently and efficiently;
- Proven experience designing and executing test strategies for complex products;
- Solid Understanding of continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices;
- Experience with black box testing techniques and exploratory testing;
- Experience in Fintech, digital banking or payments is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
- SQL knowledge for backend data validation;
- Solid understanding of API testing and hands on experience using Postman or SoapUI for testing REST and SOAP Web services (or similar tools);
- Experience with native mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso,XCUITest) as well as Selenium and Git is required ;
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++) is required for the role;
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Azure DeVops/Jira;
- ISTQB Foundation certificate in Software Testing is advantageous but not required.
