Senior Quality Assurance Lead- Footwear

Job Summary:

Lead and manage the quality function to ensure all footwear products meet company and customer standards through robust systems, process control, and team excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an effective Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs , driving continuous improvement across production and sourcing.
• Lead, train, and motivate the QA/QC team to uphold quality standards.
• Oversee audits and inspections from raw materials to finished goods.
• Approve materials and samples ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Manage customer complaints using root cause and corrective action methodologies.
• Collaborate with design, production, and sourcing teams to resolve and prevent quality issues.
• Audit and manage suppliers/vendors for consistent quality performance.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation .
• Ensure adherence to international safety and testing standards .

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Technology or related field with 10+ years’ QA leadership experience in footwear manufacturing. Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO, and QA tools (RCA, Lean Six Sigma etc.) essential.
