Senior Quality Assurance Tester

Position- Senior QA Tester

Mode: 100% remote

Duration: Full-time

Working Days: Monday to Alternative Saturday

Shift : 11am - 8pm IST

Experience 8+ years in QA/testing roles(Immediate joiner)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will play a key role in identifying bugs, suggesting improvements, and maintaining a high standard for our software products.

Responsibilities:

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities

Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools

Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders

Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Mentor junior QA engineers and support team knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
