Job Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Quality Control Engineer with an extensive background in MEP execution and consultancy to oversee and audit quality across multiple project sites in Africa. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to international standards, perform site inspections, and guide teams in quality assurance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review project specifications and QC procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Verify compliance of executed works with approved drawings and specs.
• Prepare NCRs, inspection reports, and QA/QC documentation.
• Assist in final acceptance, testing, and commissioning validation.
• Mentor junior QC engineers and support project QA teams.
• Liaise with consultants and clients on quality compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 25 years in quality control and MEP consultancy.
• Deep knowledge of international codes (BS, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, ISO).
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to travel to African sites frequently.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.
