Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our consultancy client are seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors for secondments into Thames Water projects based out Reading with hybrid working on a permanent or freelance basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional looking for flexibility, with the option to work on either a freelance or permanent basis . Experience within the water sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of projects delivered under NEC3/NEC4 contracts
• Preparation and management of cost plans, budgets, forecasts, and final accounts
• Administration of NEC contract processes, including early warnings, compensation events, and change control
• Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Accurate valuation of works and assessment of applications for payment
