Requirements:
Master degree in EngineeringIn-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity, Implicit and Explicit numerical methods, proficiency in composite materials modelling, familiarity with meshless simulation methodsMin. 5 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industryDesign experience will be considered a plusAbility of technical drawing interpretationLS-DYNA, Ansys and/or HyperMesh experienceProgramming skills in VBA and Python (automatization of repetitive tasks) will be an assetVery good English skillsTeamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude, mentoring and decision-making skills Responsibilities:
Preparation of numerical models and conducting strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, overspeed, FBO, crack propagation) of aero engine componentsProject management and coordination of Fast Dynamics divisionSupport in creation and deployment of technical and organizational processes, instructions and best practicesTechnical support of co-workers and sharing knowledge in the field of numerical simulationsDay-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production We offer:
