Senior Resilience Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced business continuity and disaster recovery professional. The successful candidate will need to be familiar with business continuity (e.G., BIA, dependency analysis, risk assessment, strategy development, BC plans, exercises, ISO 22301) and high-level disaster recovery strategies (e.G., high-availability SaaS architecture, data backup/replication and restoration, RTO, RPO, DR test types).

This role requires someone who can operate with limited oversight, translate ambiguity into action, and drive outcomes across business and technology teams. This role does not require hands-on engineering or infrastructure administration, but it does require strong technical judgment and the ability to evaluate and challenge recovery designs.

The candidate must be comfortable engaging with stakeholders face-to-face via video-on Zoom meetings in a fully remote environment. The candidate must have a passion for delivering impactful outcomes in complex environments and a track record of building productive working relationships with key stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ownership and commitment to project success, including proactively identifying risks, driving follow-ups, and escalating issues with proposed options.
• Attend and lead meetings with global stakeholders, including outside of normal IST working hours when required.
• Understand and evaluate recovery options and clearly articulate pros and cons for business and technical teams.
• Develop and communicate risk-based recommendations, clearly articulating business impact, trade-offs, and implementation considerations to technical teams and leadership.
• Coordinate and support the development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, procedures, and best practices across a diverse range of businesses and technologies.
• Key deliverables include completed BIAs, dependency analyses, BC/DR plans, exercise outcomes, and executive-ready status reporting.
• Report project status and recovery readiness through reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Develop effective and trusted working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Willing to learn, adapt, and improve procedures, tools, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience supporting business continuity or disaster recovery efforts in a multinational organization.
• Exceptional communicator (verbal and written) in business and technical English.
• A self-starter who can consistently identify the next step to achieve an outcome with minimal direction.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and microservice architecture concepts.
• Experience aggregating data to build reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with Jira (e.G., Advanced Roadmaps, dashboards, queries).
• Experience working cross-functionally and globally, implementing complex programs.
• Ability to facilitate large and small group sessions to accomplish complex tasks.
• Desirable: ISO 22301 training/certification;
  DRII Certified BusinessContinuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent.
