Job Description – Structural Draughtsman / CAD-Revit Technician

Role: Draughtsman / CAD-Revit Technician (Mid/Senior Level)

Experience: 12+ years

Location: Mumbai / Ludhiana

Salary Range: ₹6–8 LPA (based on expertise)

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise 2D and 3D drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla .
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated outputs.
• Develop and maintain Revit families, templates, and construction details for consistency and efficiency.
• Integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the BIM environment.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts to optimize project execution.
• Prepare construction documentation including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
• Apply expertise in steel structures and pre-engineered buildings (PEB) .
• Support visualization and presentations; knowledge of Enscape, SketchUp, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes while recommending workflow improvements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness, making revisions as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / ITI / Associate degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field .
• Proven experience in Revit and BIM projects , with strong knowledge of workflows and best practices.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla ; familiarity with Navisworks preferred.
• Solid understanding of construction standards, IS codes, and international regulations .
• Professional certifications in Autodesk Revit or BIM-related fields are required.
• Strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure while upholding professional ethics.

Reports directly to the Head of Department .
