Job Description – Structural Draughtsman / CAD-Revit Technician
Role: Draughtsman / CAD-Revit Technician (Mid/Senior Level)
Experience: 12+ years
Location: Mumbai / Ludhiana
Salary Range: ₹6–8 LPA (based on expertise)
Key Responsibilities
- Produce precise 2 D and 3 D drawings, models, and documentation using Auto CAD, Revit, and Tekla.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated outputs.
- Develop and maintain Revit families, templates, and construction details for consistency and efficiency.
- Integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the BIM environment.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts to optimize project execution.
- Prepare construction documentation including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
- Apply expertise in steel structures and pre-engineered buildings (PEB).
- Support visualization and presentations; knowledge of Enscape, Sketch Up, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes while recommending workflow improvements.
- Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness, making revisions as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / ITI / Associate degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field.
- Proven experience in Revit and BIM projects, with strong knowledge of workflows and best practices.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Auto CAD, Tekla; familiarity with Navisworks preferred.
- Solid understanding of construction standards, IS codes, and international regulations.
- Professional certifications in Autodesk Revit or BIM-related fields are required.
- Strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure while upholding professional ethics.
Reporting
Reports directly to the Head of Department.
