Job Description – Structural Draughtsman / CAD-Revit Technician
Role: Draughtsman / CAD-Revit Technician (Mid/Senior Level)
Experience: 12+ years
Location: Mumbai / Ludhiana
Salary Range: ₹6–8 LPA (based on expertise)
Key Responsibilities
Produce precise 2 D and 3 D drawings, models, and documentation using Auto CAD, Revit, and Tekla.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated outputs.
Develop and maintain Revit families, templates, and construction details for consistency and efficiency.
Integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the BIM environment.
Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts to optimize project execution.
Prepare construction documentation including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
Apply expertise in steel structures and pre-engineered buildings (PEB).
Support visualization and presentations; knowledge of Enscape, Sketch Up, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes while recommending workflow improvements.
Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness, making revisions as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / ITI / Associate degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related field.
Proven experience in Revit and BIM projects , with strong knowledge of workflows and best practices.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Auto CAD, Tekla ; familiarity with Navisworks preferred.
Solid understanding of construction standards, IS codes, and international regulations.
Professional certifications in Autodesk Revit or BIM-related fields are required.
Strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure while upholding professional ethics.
Reporting
Reports directly to the Head of Department.
