**Overview**
**Job Title: Senior RF Engineer**
**Job Location: Melville, NY (100% onsite)**
**Salary: $140,000-$175,000/yr DOE**
**Responsibilities**
+ Investigates and conducts studies on specifications and requirements of the project.
+ Performs original RF circuit design and analysis.
+ Supplies technical assistance and coordination to designers and staff assigned to the project.
+ Provides directions to the Engineering Technician and Associate Engineer while breadboarding, wiring, debugging and testing are being performed.
+ Designs and plans, wiring layouts and schematics.
+ Plans tests to be conducted and arranges the test setup.
+ Checks performance of devices during tests and evaluates the results.
+ Provides technical assistance in the preparation of spare parts lists, special tools, test equipment and other engineering data.
+ Specifies the procurement of specialized components and test equipment.
+ May participate in field tests and other travel duties.
+ Assists in the preparation of bids and proposals.
+ Uses PC-based Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) programs of moderate complexity.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree Electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years prior experience or Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years prior experience.
+ Knowledge of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) programs preferred.
+ 5+ years of RF Microwave Engineering experience in design, development, analysis and investigation of electronic devices and systems required.
+ Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency
**Must be familiar:**
+ Modeling and Simulating
+ Optimizing new conceptual circuits along with evaluating, testing, tuning, and modifying circuits to meet specifications
+ Amplifier design using both packaged components and bare die
