Job Title: Senior Sales Service Engineer (UPS)

Department: Customer Support

Experience: 3 – 6 Years

Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat


Role Objective:

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with 3 – 6 years of experience in AMC sales and UPS spare parts sales, responsible for driving service revenue, managing customer relationships, and ensuring timely collection of advance and credit payments in line with company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. AMC & Spares Sales

- Generate business through Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) sales for UPS and power electronics products.

- Promote and sell UPS spare parts, batteries, and service-related offerings to existing and new customers.

- Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers for AMC renewals and spare parts.

- Convert service inquiries into confirmed orders and contracts.

- Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain regular follow-up with existing customers for AMC renewals and repeat spare sales.

- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term service engagement.

- Coordinate with service and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.


2. Payment Follow-up & Collection

- Follow up with customers for advance payments before order execution.

- Ensure timely collection of credit payments on or before due dates.

- Coordinate with accounts and management to resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies.

- Maintain accurate records of outstanding receivables and payment status.


3. Reporting & Coordination

- Maintain sales funnel, order status, and payment tracking reports.

- Provide regular updates on AMC conversions, spare sales, and receivables.

- Coordinate with internal teams for contract execution and spare dispatch.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Power Electronics

- 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in AMC sales and UPS spare parts sales.

- Good understanding of UPS systems, spares, batteries, and service requirements.

- Strong follow-up, negotiation, and collections management skills.

- Ability to handle credit control processes and customer payment terms.

- Good communication skills (verbal and written).

- Proficient in MS Excel, CRM tools, and basic reporting.


Preferred Attributes:

- Experience in service sales, post-sales revenue, or maintenance contracts.

- Familiarity with commercial terms, GST, invoicing, and payment cycles.

- Target-oriented mindset with strong customer focus.
