**Overview**



We are seeking a highly experienced **Salesforce Technical Architect / Lead Developer** to design, develop, and implement **enterprise-grade solutions** within the Salesforce platform. This role goes beyond development, encompassing **strategic technical leadership, architectural governance, and solution design for complex, multi-cloud environments** . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, advanced customisation, and integration, as well as the ability to **influence technology strategy and mentor technical teams** .



**Key Responsibilities**



**1. Salesforce Development**



+ Develop custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

+ Create and maintain triggers, workflows, and process automation to streamline business processes.

+ Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.

+ Define coding standards and enforce best practices across development teams.

+ Review and approve complex technical designs and ensure scalability and maintainability.



**2. Customisation and Configuration**



+ Customise standard and custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.

+ Implement security controls, including user roles, profiles, and sharing rules.

+ Configure Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud modules to meet business needs.

+ Drive architectural decisions for multi-cloud implementations and advanced security models.

+ Establish governance for configuration and customisation to maintain system integrity.



**3. Collaborative Problem Solving**



+ Work closely with Salesforce admins, business stakeholders, product owners, and other developers to gather and analyse requirements.

+ Propose technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues or defects.

+ (Senior) Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on Salesforce strategy and roadmap.

+ (Senior) Lead technical workshops and solution design sessions for complex integrations and enterprise-scale deployments.



**4. Maintenance and Optimisation**



+ Monitor and optimise Salesforce system performance.

+ Conduct regular system audits to ensure data quality and system efficiency.

+ Review Salesforce release notes, identifying risks in current build and features of interest that could benefit the organisation.

+ Define proactive optimisation strategies and scalability plans for future growth.

+ Oversee technical debt management and ensure long-term platform health.



**5. Documentation and Best Practices**



+ Document system designs, development processes, and configuration details.

+ Adhere to Salesforce best practices and coding standards to ensure maintainability and scalability.

+ Establish and enforce architectural standards, governance frameworks, and documentation protocols.

+ Mentor developers and admins to build internal technical capability and ensure knowledge transfer.
