Job Description:

  • The Scale Operator is responsible for operating the scale in an accurate, efficient manner with superior customer service.
  • As a Scale Operator, you will weigh and process inbound ingredients and outbound feed.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors.
  • Running miscellaneous daily reports.
  • Be an involved/engaged member of a team.
  • Maintain the general appearance of the facility to include scale room, office building, breakroom, etc.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decision as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Loading trucks in and out.
  • Trucks bring in ingrediants which go on the scale to be weighed.
  • Complete paperwork.
  • Empty trucks into receiving pit.
  • Use SAP system.
