Position Title: Senior Scientist

Reporting Manager: Team Manager

Objective:

Working as Senior Scientist in Technology team, to develop and maintain cost-effective, high- quality products for our customers which can be manufactured efficiently in Operations by understanding our formulating practices, customer specifications and test methods. Working with Operations to transfer products smoothly into production and following our quality procedures to ensure continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:

• Understand customer specifications and business needs, define programs to solve specific needs.

• Develop formulations for topcoats and primers tailored for industrial applications, ensuring they provide necessary attributes and performance standards.

• Offer support for existing product lines, including troubleshooting and direct customer assistance.

• High level of understanding of analytical testing methods for coatings.

• Ensure all project documentation is completed properly and in full and available for audits

• Attend line trials of new product launches at customer sites.

• Lead or take active role in problem solving customer issues using appropriate methodology,

• Engage daily with personnel across business and operations functions.

• Work with application team to develop application line simulation parameters to ensure that line trials and product introductions are right first time.

• Organize workflow by setting and meeting deadlines while adhering to core values, including safe work practices.

Key Job Requirements:

• B.Tech/ Msc/M.Tech/ PhD in Polymer & Surface Engineering or Paint Technology.

• Strong project management skills. Ability to handle complex problems through data analysis.

• Good computer skills including office, database, and statistics.

• Good verbal and written of English language preferred.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration capability.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
