Senior SharePoint Engineer at Lean Tech
Overview

Responsibilities
- Architect and build modern SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, React, and TypeScript.
- Design and develop responsive, custom SharePoint solutions as SharePoint Framework web parts, extensions, and client-side components.
- Build complex Power Platform workflows with Power Automate and low‑code canvas/model‑driven applications with Power Apps that seamlessly integrate with SharePoint lists and libraries.
- Define information architecture, site hierarchies (Hub sites), content types, and taxonomy to ensure scalability and searchability.
- Develop Azure Functions (C#/.NET) and Logic Apps to handle complex backend logic, heavy data processing, or integrations exceeding Power Automate capabilities.
- Leverage Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint REST APIs to fetch and manipulate data across the M365 tenant (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Lead migration projects from on‑premises SharePoint (2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online using tools such as ShareGate or the SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT).
- Implement best practices for permission management, external sharing policies, and data loss prevention (DLP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including at least 4+ years with SharePoint Online.
- Advanced proficiency in building Client‑Side Web Parts and Extensions using the SharePoint Framework.
- Strong experience with PnP JS and PnP PowerShell for site provisioning and automation.
- Proficient in C#/.NET Core for Azure Function development and CSOM scripting.
- Deep understanding of RESTful services, OData, and the Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience building complex Power Platform canvas/model‑driven apps and advanced Power Automate flows.
- Experience with SharePoint Search configuration and migration of legacy Farm solutions or InfoPath forms.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, Power Platform Developer Associate) are highly valued.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for SPFx package deployment to the App Catalog.
