Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create and Review Design architecture solutions to meet the technical and functional requirements.
Work towards Setting up pipelines and Writing Terraform Scripts for provisioning Infrastructure and automating workflows.
Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full lifecycle
Help Other Team Members with Requirements and on technical roadblocks.
Setup Data dog dashboards and monitoring.
Work towards the development of new features and enhancements.
Work towards writing Automation tests for the Infrastructure Monitoring.
Presenting Solution and the architecture to the new and existing customers.
Building up infrastructure monitoring capabilities.
Willing to Work in rotational UK Shifts.
Enter bugs to Engineering on any infrastructure issues.
Keep status and changelogs for any work.

Primary Skills required:
Experience in designing Cloud-ready Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
Design and architect Container based solutions using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
Have experience working on an Enterprise application hosted in Cloud.
Extensive Knowledge of Azure Services (AKS/Azure Key Vault/ Azure Monitoring)
Extensive HANDS-ON knowledge on Data Dog.
Experience with setting up Kubernetes clusters in production.
Excellent HANDS ON with terraform Scripting.
Experience with Azure AD
Experience in setting up complex architecture, which complies with HA/DR/Scalability

Secondary Skills required:

Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
Experience with Database Design and setting them up on cloud.
Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, etc.
Experience working with Architects. Engineering Managers and CTO’s.
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards

Soft skills required:
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Able to preempt, identify and resolve problems that are non-routine or lacking in definition
Ability to define, implement and work to a schedule.
Good time management skills.
Attention to detail. Able to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to work with team members across the globe

Experience range:
3-8 years of overall experience
2+ years of relevant experience in Design and architect
Educational Qualifications:
B.E./ ME (CS/EE) / MCA or equivalent higher-level degree

Certifications:
Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform certifications preferred
