Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Small Works Manager within our team based in Derby. The purpose of the role is to lead and strategically manage the department, supporting the Project Management team in maintaining and developing the capability and coordinating the daily operations of associated works while providing high-level oversight and decision-making.

Day to Day responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership and management of the engineering resource in relevant areas.
  • Key point of contact for senior stakeholders, Project Managers, and the small works teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the Contract consistently exceeds all relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
  • Oversee and improve the system of regular site Supervisory Health and Safety inspections, and car/van inspections on engineers, Logbook audits.
