Senior Software Development Engineer

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs .
• Build and maintain payment-related components and integrations in AWS .
• Implement secure, PCI-compliant solutions and ensure adherence to Deltas standards and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, PCI-compliant solutions.
• Support deployments and ensure adherence to Deltas methodology, standards, and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance across front-end and back-end layers.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure technical solutions align with business goals and deliver high customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

Technical Competencies:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 46 years in full-stack development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java , Spring Boot , Microservices , and RESTful APIs .
• AWS expertise (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
• Experience with Oracle/SQL and source control tools (Git).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and PCI standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Additionally, candidate must be a self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results.
• Finally Candidate has to be Reliable, produce quality work, take pride and ownership in their work with high level of professionalism, passion and a sense of urgency to make things happen
