Senior Software Engineeer, Core RADOS/Crimson

Introduction

IBM's Ceph engineering organization is looking for motivated senior software engineers to join the core RADOS and Crimson team in India (Bangalore and Pune regions). In this role, you will collaborate with a globally distributed team of Ceph engineers to design and implement new features in Ceph components like the OSD (Object Storage Daemon), Ceph Monitor, Ceph Manager, Ceph Messenger and BlueStore (backing object store for the OSD) to improve Ceph's scalability, performance, and efficiency. You will have the opportunity to innovate by implementing new capabilities in the next-generation Crimson OSD built for performance. You will participate in a vibrant and active open-source community to deliver enterprise-quality software.
