Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Node.js, Typescript)

About the role

This role requires a hands-on engineer who can get up to speed quickly with new projects. The tech stack is Typescript, Node.js, Postgres, and AWS, and we are open to people who specialise in either BE Node, or Full Stack. This is a day rate contract role, and the role is Melbourne-based, with hybrid work arrangements.

The team will rely on you to:

• Utilise TypeScript as the primary language to drive consistency, type safety, and code quality across the respective codebase.
• Commit to continuous delivery while mentoring mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews, and elevating engineering standards.
• Champion automated testing, clean code principles, and secure development practices relevant to handling sensitive data.
• Actively drive team planning, provide authoritative technical feedback, and work as a reliable technical anchor.
