Job Description

The Cluster to Cluster Synchronization team is working to make migrations, backups, and disaster recovery of MongoDB clusters easy and reliable. Our main focus is, a tool to synchronize two MongoDB clusters. This tool is a top priority for the company, and is used to migrate customers from on-prem MongoDB to MongoDB's cloud service, MongoDB Atlas.

This role can be based out of our Dublin office or remotely in Ireland.


Responsibilities

  • Build mongosync, a database migration and syncing tool. This tool is heavily used by MongoDB Atlas (our Database-as-a-Service), as well as by on-prem customers
