Senior Software Engineer We are an expanding fintech company that enables the biggest global brands to collect payments in 40 countries across emerging markets. Our mission is to simplify payment expansion and increase conversion rates for merchants worldwide, delivering high‑quality, low‑latency solutions in a flexible, remote‑first culture. Responsibilities Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Design, develop, and deliver high‑volume, low‑latency applications for mission‑critical systems. Write well‑designed, testable, efficient Java code. Ensure designs comply with specifications and architectural standards. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting findings for architectural review. Qualifications 5 years of software development experience using Java SE. Experience with microservices architecture. Proficiency with Spring, Maven, and Java. Experience working with other language ecosystems (e.g., Node/Express, Go/Gin). Production experience with relational databases (, Aurora, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and query optimization. Production experience with non‑relational databases (Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB). Experience with Cloud Providers such as AWS (preferred) or GCP. Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Experience with platform tools such as Kubernetes and Docker is a plus. Written and spoken English. Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
