Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on:

  • Development of next generation wireless communications and broadband products like multi-gigabit Wi-Fi and broadband routers, mesh networks and distributed systems providing high speed data connectivity
  • Pre- and post-silicon development of drivers and firmware for the next generation of, WiFi, and smart gateways SoC and system integration

    • Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of system programming in C/Assembly/C++ preferably on embedded systems
  • Ability to independently develop and own software modules
  • Expertise in Linux OS and Embedded system architecture
  • Experience in BSP/device drivers/middleware development
  • Experience in driver development for packet processing
  • Experience in analysis of kernel crash dump, rcu stalls, other call traces
  • Deep knowledge of networking, broadband and WLAN protocols
  • Knowledge of open-source community software stacks like OpenWRT, RDKB
  • A team player with willingness and ability to work closely with others and create win-win scenarios
  • Bachelor’s in computer science Electrical Engineering with 2- 5 yrs of industrial experience
