We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (remote contract role )who can design, build, and operate systems end to end, while helping shape our technical foundations as we grow.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early-stage engineering, takes responsibility beyond just writing code, and is comfortable working across backend, frontend, DevOps, and LLM infrastructure.
This role is only for people who have 5+ years of work experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of features and systems—from design to production and maintenance.
- Design and develop full-stack applications using Node.js, Express, MongoDB, React.js, and Next.js.
- Architect and maintain scalable systems .
- Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) query pipelines , including Vector search integration, Query orchestration and relevance tuning.
- Deploy, operate, and optimize AI LLM deployments , including: GPU-based deployments using vLLM, Model-serving APIs and inference performance optimization, Cost-aware and scalable LLM infrastructure.
- Own DevOps workflows , including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and environment management.
- Lead system design discussions , making pragmatic trade-offs aligned with startup constraints.
- Implement and maintain automated testing using Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
Required Techical Stack

- Vector-based retrieval and search pipelines.
- LLM inference APIs and prompt-driven systems
- Experience deploying and operating LLMs (vLLM or similar)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- GPU-based LLM deployments
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, AWS, or equivalent)
- Serverless architectures
- Cypress / Playwright
- System design
