  • PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The SAP Data Migration Analyst will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration activities for SAP implementations. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP data structures, migration tools, and methodologies, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies for SAP projects (including S/4HANA or other ERP systems).

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems into SAP environments.

  • Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with business and system requirements.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand data requirements and resolve migration issues.

  • Perform data cleansing and enrichment activities to ensure high-quality data migration.

  • Document migration processes and provide post-migration support.

  • Use tools like SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, or Migration Cockpit.

  • Data Loading & Validation - Load data into SAP systems (ECC or S/4HANA) and perform reconciliation.

  • Validate data accuracy and completeness with business stakeholders.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance - Support mock runs, unit testing, and integration testing for migration.

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and migration errors.

  • Maintain migration templates, mapping documents, and audit logs.

  • Proficiency in ETL processes and data validation techniques.

  • Experience with S/4HANA or large ERP implementations.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field.
