Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new featuresIdentify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issuesConduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standardsParticipate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deploymentContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceProven 5+ years of experience problem solving with contact center platforms (primarily voice)Proven 6+ years of experience with Amazon Connect routing developmentSolid understanding of Conversational AI use cases and implementationsSolid understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementationSolid proficiency in AWS services: Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, AWS LambdaProficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java)Proficiency in git/GitHub version controlProven excellent technical growth, problem-solving and analytical skillsProven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentProven solid communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Experience with Agile development methodologiesProficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM), specifically the Service Level Owner roleProficiency in CICD tools (GitHub)At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
