About the job

Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test who will dive into challenging problems, build innovative features, and bring efficiency to the software build and delivery process. This is a hybrid position.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with test automation engineers and cross‑functional product owners to translate acceptance criteria into technical documents, write automation scripts, and integrate them with the Test Automation framework and CI/CD pipeline.
• Provide progress status updates to the Project Manager and reporting manager.
• Ensure work aligns with the given project schedule for you and the team.
• Understand functional requirements, business process flows, and test them in UAT and test environments in adherence to the quality assurance process and procedure.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manual testing, automated testing, and test plan preparation.
• Demonstrated experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, and S3.
• Containerization skills with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD experience with source code management using Git, Azure DevOps, Elastic/Kibana, and application performance monitoring.
• Solid experience in test plan preparation: scenarios, test cases, and script writing.
• Blackbox testing: BDD, functional testing, and business process flow testing.
• Experience leading fast‑paced teams with ownership of end‑to‑end delivery.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira and databases such as Oracle or Document DB.
• Domain knowledge in the banking or lending industry.
