The Work
(What you'll be doing & Your Impact)

  • Build and ship core product features w/ a strong focus on React on the front end
  • Work across the stack using React plus either Rails or Node, with the expectation you can ramp up on both
  • Partner closely w/ the PM and design team to plan projects, shape the roadmap, discuss tradeoffs, and keep everyone aligned
  • Collaborate in a small team where communication, ownership, and shared decision making matter
  • Lean into problem solving by spotting slow or outdated workflows and suggesting better processes
  • Stay curious and actively bring new ideas, tools, and approaches to the team
  • Embrace AI in your everyday dev workflow to improve speed, creativity, and product quality

    • Needed Expertise
    (What you need to succeed in the role)

  • Strong experience with React plus backend experience in Rails or Node
  • Ability to work comfortably across different parts of the product and switch context when needed
  • Clear, thoughtful communication and a collaborative working style
  • Experience partnering with product and design on planning, tradeoffs, and roadmap conversations
  • Proactive mindset that looks for ways to improve code quality, team processes, and product experience
  • Comfort using AI and LLMs as part of your dev flow, and openness to evolving your workflow over time
  • Interest in mentoring and sharing knowledge in a small, team focused environment
