About this Role

Walmart is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to lead and manage strategy for mid- to large-scale projects (Mobile Engineering), collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mobile solutions across multiple operating systems (iPhone, Android).

This role is critical to our mission of transforming retail through technology and delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scripts to automate repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery).
• Work with RESTful APIs, Git (Version Control System), Apple iOS, and perform Root Cause Analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong ability to collaborate and support small teams.
• Familiarity with frameworks (ActiveX, .Net, Cocoa, Android Application Framework), tools (Monday.com, Linx, Embold, etc.).
• Experience with platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Apple iOS), development standards, and tools.
• Testing strategy experience, including tools such as Selenium, Agile - Jira, and Mobile - Eggplant.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of: defect lifecycle processes, defect tracking tools and methodologies, defect reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• DevOps orientation: Knowledge of different operating systems, software maintenance tools, and techniques.
