Senior Software Engineer (Offshore)

Overview:

Hands-on senior engineering role working remotely as part of the offshore delivery team, collaborating with onsite team members and FP stakeholders through structured communication channels. Focused on feature delivery and technical excellence.

Key Skills:

.NET Core / .NET 6+, Angular, TypeScript (legacy .NET/Angular migration to TypeScript), AWS, SQL RDS, REST APIs, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Automated Testing (unit/ integration/ E2E), CI/CD, Payment integrations

• Shift time : Shift start at 7:00 0r 7:30 AM IST with overlapping hours
• Candidate should be willing to travel initially for one month to Australia (Client location)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend and frontend features

• Build and consume secure API-based integrations including payment gateways

• Work with and modernize legacy codebases (.NET Core, Angular)

• Implement comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, E2E)

• Collaborate with onsite team members and FP teams through structured channels

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery

• Own features from development through production support and monitoring

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

• Conduct and participate in code reviews

• Support offshore team members with technical guidance

Experience:

6–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience with:

- Strong legacy system enhancement and modernization exposure

- Experience with payment integrations or financial services systems (preferred)

- Localization, Multi-region or multi-tenant application experience (preferred)

- AWS deployment and observability experience

- Track record of working in collaborative, distributed teams

- Track record of delivering quality code with minimal supervision

- Experience with asynchronous collaboration and documentation

Additional Requirements:

- Flexibility to work overlapping hours with Melbourne time zone (min 4 hours overlap)

- Strong written English communication skills
