Senior Software Engineer, (Playwright Automation)

**Meet Our Team:**
This team is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and evangelizing quality across Pega’s largest engineering teams. **_W_** **_e_** **_design and build robust test automation frameworks for both UI and APIs, leverage Generative AI to solve complex testing challenges, and influence teams to adopt best-in-class quality practices._**
Our team also develops scalable, extensible, and GenAI-powered testing solutions tailored specifically to Pega’s platform and product needs.

In this role, you will contribute to building automation frameworks for RESTful APIs and validating Infrastructure as Code. You will work with modern technologies to ensure the quality of Pega “as-a-Service” offerings.
**What You'll Do at Pega:**

+ **_Design robust, extensible frameworks for_** **_RESTful API automation_**
+ Understand and solvePega-centric quality challenges

+ Research, design, and implement solutions followingbest design patterns and coding practices
+ Deliver sprint commitments with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining high quality
+ Collaborate with a team of talented engineers in a positive and inclusive environment
+ **_Build_** **_insightful and impactful reports_** **_and dashboards using_** **_Grafana._**
+ **_Work with tools and technologies such as_** **_Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, VS code, Linux, Node.js, TypeScript, Groovy, and AWS_**
**Who You Are:**
+ Experience of software testing for 4-6 years
+ Strong understanding ofMicroservices Architecture
+ Playwright with TypeScript
+ Pega Platform
+ Generative AI–driven testing
+ Accessibility testing
+ API automation (manual and automated)
+ Performance testing using JMeter
**What You've Accomplished:**
+ Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
+ Prior experience testingPega applications
+ **_Hands-on experience implementing_** **_GenAI-based projects_**
+ **_Solid foundation in_** **_Algorithms and Data Structures_**
