Senior Software Engineer - Test

Job Description

• Preferred 2 to 3+ Years of experience in testing. (preferred in Energy domain)
  
• Automation testing- Selenium knowledge added advantage.
  
• Strong experience in Web applications. (Mobile Applications will be added advantage)
  
• Strong experience in functional & non-functional testing.
  
• Strong experience in test case design and Test execution.
  
• Strong Experience in Defect Tracking.
  
• Strong Experience in Test case design techniques.
  
• Must have knowledge of SQL & Data base testing.
  
• Must have experience in using Bugzilla/ JIRA tools.
  
• Experience in API testing. (Rest Client will be added advantage)
  
• Preparing documents with good explanation of the functionality.
  
• Good bug reporting skills (like filing - Detailed bug reports, analyzing and route causing the issues)
  
• Good written and oral communication skills

Requirements
3-8 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator. Strong knowledge of Linux server distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). Good understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls. Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation. Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V). (Good to have) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with version control (Git). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of IT security principles. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
