Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Semiconductor Automation (C#/.NET)

Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer - Semiconductor Automation (C#/.NET), you
will be part of a cross-functional team developing high-quality web
applications and backend services. You’ll work closely with senior
engineers and product teams to design, build, and maintain scalable
software systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend communication drivers, middleware
services, and data collection modules using C#, .NET, and REST API
technologies.
• Implement SEMI Standards-compliant semiconductor automation software
frameworks.
• Integrate and interface SECS/GEM-compliant communication packages with
semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Work on integrating software with devices such as robots, material
transfer systems, and processing hardware.
• Perform real-time data collection from semiconductor manufacturing
tools used in fabs.
• Design and develop .NET/C# applications to communicate with hardware
devices, sensors, and automation components.
• Ensure compliance with SEMI 200mm and 300mm equipment communication
standards.
• Apply AI and Machine Learning techniques to enhance data processing,
predictive insights, or automation capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4-5 years of experience in backend development using C#, .NET, REST
APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SEMI SECS/GEM standards and semiconductor
equipment communication protocols.
• Experience working with automation hardware including robots, transfer
systems, and process equipment.
• Hands-on experience in real-time equipment data collection within
semiconductor fab environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in industrial or
automation workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced
semiconductor automation environments.
