Senior Software Engineer -TM 4-7 Years

Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
SAP TM certification is preferred

4-7 Years of experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) solution delivery
Experience in end-to-end SAP TM implementations (standalone or embedded) including configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support
Leadership experience in mentoring junior engineers or leading modules within a broader SAP program Exposure to SAP TM standalone and embedded deployment models
Experience working in a global delivery model or within a Global Technology Center is a plus

Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP TM modules – transportation planning, charge calculation, freight order management, and settlement
Integration experience with ECC/S4HANA (SD/MM/EWM) and external logistics systems or carriers
Ability to create functional specifications for custom enhancements and collaborate with development teams
Knowledge of SAP TM optimizers, planning profiles, and transportation cockpit functionalities
Expertise in BOPF, PPF actions, BRF+, and related TM frameworks

Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and global delivery models
Basic debugging capabilities for issue identification in TM processes
Familiarity with TM performance tuning and mass data processing utilities

Own SAP TM configuration, functional design, and implementation across assigned projects
Lead requirement gathering, solution design, and end-to-end delivery of TM features
Ensure alignment of custom developments with standard SAP capabilities and best practices
Oversee defect triaging, UAT support, and deployment readiness

Provide production support and issue resolution aligned to SLAs
Create reusable documentation and knowledge artifacts to build team capability
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and propose system enhancements
