Senior Software Engineer Web

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Software Engineer (m/f/d) for our client to develop and enhance complex web applications in an industrial environment JP). In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and integration of web-based solutions – including connecting hardware via various device interfaces. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute your extensive full-stack experience to the technical design and further development of the system landscape.

Responsibilities:
– Conceptualization, design, and implementation of full-stack web applications using C# or Java
– Responsibility for software architectures (backend/frontend) and overall technical solutions –
Development of modern web frontends using JavaScript and ideally React –
Connecting and programming hardware via device and communication interfaces –
Contributing to technical concepts, reviews, and performance and quality optimization –
Close collaboration with embedded, hardware, and system teams for solution integration –
Taking on technical project management tasks or leading small working groups

Requirements:
– Several years of experience in full-stack web development with C# or Java
– At least 3 years of practical experience in the software architecture of complex systems
– Solid knowledge of JavaScript, ideally in conjunction with React
– Proven experience in programming hardware via device interfaces (e.g., serial interfaces, fieldbus, proprietary protocols, sensors/actuators)
– Proficient use of common web development tools, frameworks, and best practices (REST, APIs, testing, CI/CD, version control)
– Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach, as well as a high degree of personal responsibility
– Team spirit, strong communication skills, and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
– Advantageous: Experience in technical project management or leading workgroups
– Advantageous: Practical experience in Linux embedded development and the interaction of embedded and web components

Education:
– Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a comparable field (university of applied sciences/university/ETH)

Languages:
– German (native speaker/fluent)
– English skills at least at B2 level
