Workday HCM Cross Functional Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions that meet the needs of the organization. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. They stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Workday HCM, HR Technology and ensure that the organization is leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions across Workday HCM, Security, Core Compensation and, recruiting that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Manage a team of Workday HCM Cross Functional Architects and ensure that they are delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Workday HCM and ensure that the organization is leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Workday HCM solutions, including technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Ensure that Workday HCM solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday HCM solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Collaborate with other IT leaders to ensure that Workday HCM solutions are aligned with the overall IT strategy of the organization.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday HCM design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong technical skills in Workday HCM, including experience with Workday Studio, EIB, and calculated fields.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Workday HCM certification is preferred.

    BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

    Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
