Hi everyone – I’m Ahmed Avais, Senior Manager of Engineering at OpenSesame. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team and help strengthen our use of Extreme Programming (XP) practices across the stack.

At OpenSesame, you’ll work with a global engineering org that believes in pairing, test‑driven development, and continuous improvement – not as buzzwords, but as daily practices.

• Work across our modern web stack (TypeScript, JavaScript, PHP, cloud infrastructure)
• Pair program daily, ship continuously, and write tests first
• Mentor other engineers through code, feedback, and example
• Help evolve a legacy codebase with care and craft

You’ll join a remote team of 14 engineers across North America, Latin America, the UK, and India.

• Have strong XP experience (TDD, pairing, refactoring)
• Have improved legacy systems incrementally
• Can mentor others through collaboration
