Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft API Management / Flex Gateway expert to strengthen a core API platform team within a large enterprise in Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
Strengthen the core API platform team as a senior APIM consultant/developer
Design, implement, and operate MuleSoft Flex Gateway (v1.10.x)
Develop and maintain custom policies using Flex Gateway PDK
Support API consumers and providers (REST / SOAP)
Ensure API security (OAuth2, mTLS, TLS)
Work within insurance / regulated IT environments
Collaborate with platform operators and cross-functional teams
Drive knowledge transfer from project phase into operations
Work independently and proactively to relieve the core team
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft APIM & Flex Gateway
Experience in insurance, banking, or other regulated industries (strong advantage)
