Job Description





+ Manages the day-to-day operations of the Customer facing Infrastructure by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair.



+ Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained.



+ Applies revisions to host system firmware and software.



+ Works with vendors to assist support activities.



+ Performs troubleshooting as required and lead problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and team members from other departments.



+ Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the operating systems, disk subsystems, firewalls and switches, and other components.



+ Conducts studies, consults with vendors, management and staff concerning projected enhancements to hardware for existing and new technologies; and presents cost-benefit recommendations to upper managemen...
