Job title: Senior Solar Electrical Superintendent

Location: Texas, United States (On-site)

TGRC is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Solar Electrical Superintendent to oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for large-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical installation process for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize electrical work activities.

  • Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.

  • Coordinate with engineering and design teams to review electrical plans, specifications, and drawings, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including daily reports, material usage, and labor hours.

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement strategies for optimizing project efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting safety training and inspections as required.

  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and any potential challenges or delays.

  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in the renewable energy or utility-scale solar industry.

  • OSHA 30 certification required.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.

  • Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and drawings.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Lastly, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
