Project details

• Role: Senior Solution Architect
• Project Duration: ASAP - End of 2026 (approx. 11 months)
• Latest Start Date:
• Extension: Possible
• Workload: 80-100%
• Location: Basel (mostly onsite, some home office possible)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Create architecture documents, diagrams, specifications, integration maps, data flow designs, and migration roadmaps.
• Develop and validate POCs using Python and cloud-native tooling.
• Design and document APIs/endpoints for integration and scalability.
• Architect solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Plan and document data/system migration strategies.
• Guide engineering teams during implementation.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• (Nice-to-have) Work in regulated environments (SaMD, CSV).

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years in solution or technical architecture roles.
• Strong experience designing and documenting solutions on AWS.
• Python development experience (automation, prototyping, validation).
• Proven knowledge of API/endpoint architectures (REST, event-driven).
• Hands‑on experience in data and system migrations.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience in regulated environments (SaMD, CSV).
• Executor mindset (hands‑on, detail‑oriented).
• Collaborative and dependable.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams.
