Job Title: Senior Solution Architect – MES

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore

Employment Type: Full Time, regular, hybrid work arrangement

The job 

The Senior Solution Architect – MES is responsible for leading MES delivery, solution design, and customer engagement across MES delivery programs. This role owns end-to-end execution of MES initiatives, mentors high-performing teams, and partners with regional and global stakeholders to deliver scalable, value-driven manufacturing solutions. Expected to be a techno-functional subject matter expert.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on delivery strategy, resource planning, and capability building
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, delivery metrics, and adoption of new AVEVA capabilities
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints, driving mitigation plans and transparent communication
  • Essential requirementsDrive customer engagement and stakeholder management, serving as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for MES initiativesLead and mentor multi-disciplinary MES teams (solution architects, senior engineers, developers, testers), fostering strong delivery culture and technical excellence

    Industry & Domain Skills

  • Strong exposure to F&B manufacturing processes (batch/packaging/continuous), with understanding of quality, traceability, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to map business KPIs to MES functionality and value outcomes
  • Experience supporting global or regional MES programs across multiple plants

    • Leadership & Project Management

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing MES delivery teams
  • Experience managing senior engineers and solution architects in a matrix or global delivery model
  • Strong communication skills to engage plant leadership, IT, OT, and business stakeholders

    • Technical & MES Expertise

  • Ability to define MES architecture, standards, templates, and rollout frameworks for multi-site deploymentsUnderstanding of ISA-95Expert in MES Solutions (preferably AVEVA MES)Industrial Automation & NetworkingSolid understanding of SCADA solutions
  • Solid understanding of Integrating MES with ERP, EAM, LIMS and similar plant floor systems
  • Convert gathered formal requirements into a system design that can be easily understood by the customer as well as the AVEVA project team.
  • You will be someone who will be expected to lead from the front, enforce our technical best practices in project executions and be recognized as an expert with a proven track record of success with practical application, technical innovation and value creation. Someone who enjoys being hands-on and the go-to person for any high-level technical challenges will be very successful in this role.

    Hybrid working
