ROLE DESCRIPTION


The Business Data Cloud (BDC) Senior Solution Sales Specialist primary responsibilities are to take the SAP Business Data Cloud solutions which is Integrated Data management platform to be the foundation of a Customer’s Digital Transformation and AI utilizing capabilities. Key responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new and incremental cloud business to existing and net new customers in BTP Japan team, The Senior Solution Sales Specialist brings an innovative Point of View to the Customer engagement, represents a credible and trusted advisor for Customer CIO and data management team, collaborates with the Industry Account Executive Teams to position digital transformation with SAP cloud offerings and uses all available resources to accelerate adoption, consumption and solve customer challenges with SAP Business Data Cloud.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Responsibility in net bookings to generate new booking and reduce churn of Business Data Cloud

  • Works with the Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals

  • Works with the Regional VAT to educate target accounts on the solution set and conducts account planning for strategic deals

  • Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand with marketing team and SDE to maximize pipeline and covert to bookings

  • Collaborate with CSM team to support customers consuming and up selling BDC solutions
  • WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions

  • Selling data management or analytics related solution is preferred 

  • Experience to engage with CIOs

  • Proven track record in target achievement
  • EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)

  • Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred

  • Communication skills

  • Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Presentation skills

  • Product Solution Knowledge especially data management and analytics area
