About The Team
Team builds store specific adjacency floor plans leveraging merchandising guidelines & providing data driven recommendations that positively impact space allocation enabling right space for right products. Team also supports the stores on their queries related to any floorplan strategy implementation or any changes need at the store. The goal is to place the right categories next to each other at the right location in the store to drive sales, create thoughtful in-store experiences, and ensure ease of shopping.

Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead projects involving macro/micro space design, planning and execution for respective business area/division.
- Leads the NRI Steel Rack Matrix process for major strategic projects across Business Areas
- Train and onboard Space planners to work on NRI Steel Matrix analysis
- Simplify / optimize the process
- Creates store specific POGs/visual space plans that illustrate layout and flow of merchandising categories/assortment by leveraging data, business context & presentation architecture.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining global partnership for seamless exchange of knowledge and context.
- Knowledge Management – Create, Validate, Store & Share category/business context and execution guidelines.
- Leverage Project Management practices to help the team deliver projects within prescribed timelines with expected level of quality
- Work in a team environment with focus on achieving team goals vs individual goals
- 4+ years of Retail Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications
- B.com / BBM / MBA / Retail Operations Management

Key Skills: Space Planning/Floor Planning, Advanced Excel, Retail understanding, Good communication
- Understanding of Retail Industry (local or global)
- Strong communication skills – ability to comprehend, articulate and seamlessly communicate locally and globally
- Technical skills - Advanced Excel
- Problem Solving – ability to leverage data, information and visuals to solve business and execution challenges.
- Strong understanding of Project Management practices
- Project Management Certification
- Six Sigma Certification
